This is one of my favorite issues. Discrimination, hey it happens. Live with it! What do you expect? Should the group in power just roll over and give up everything? It's a lovely idea, but it's not going to happen any time soon. You can believe it, but if you do I think that you're an idiot. What do you propose we do? Implement Afirmative Action? That's a great idea! Let's have all the well off people who are intelligent and tallented be robbed of jobs and opportunities so underqualified people can waste good money. It's gotten to a point where a white male can't get into a college or get a job because they're too well off! That's such a bad thing? If you were putting money into a bank, would you want a person who had known money all his life or a person who never had a lot of cash and might run off with it at any moment. I have no problem with people trying to better themselves. In fact I respect it. However, I feel that they have to earn positions on their own and not be handed them. Some people have more advantages than others, that's the way the cards are delt. Try to play the hand well instead of getting the casino to force a winning hand to fold. | ||||||||||||||||
